3. From there, head to the boss's entrance area.
4. At the entrance, open the Ancient Chest and grab Ancient Teleporters.
5. Place one near the lift and another by the boss's door for easy back-and-forth movement.
Recommended Setup
Gear
Twisted Bow is top-tier right now.
Scorching Bow is also useful depending on the phase.
Demonbane weapons are essential for mechanics and add control.
Toxic Blowpipe or similar for spec flexibility.
Inventory Tips
Sandfews Serums: Cure venom and restore stats.
Regen Potions: High value over long fights.
Super Restores / Brews: Better than food for extended floors.
Prayer potions or equivalents – lots of prayer switching involved.
Thalls spellbook: Bring runes for Thraws, Death Charge, and use Dark Demonbane with Purging Staff.
Boss Fight Basics
The Doom of Mokhaiotl is a delve boss – each floor increases in difficulty but gives better loot chances. After completing a floor, you can either claim your loot or go deeper.
General Attack Mechanics
Blue = Magic, Green = Ranged, Red/Orange = Melee
Pray accordingly – hits are punishing if you mispray.
Rock Debris Mechanic
Doom throws a large boulder.
When it lands:
-Disables your prayers
-Spawns smaller rocks
Look for blue aura = mage, plain rock = range, and prepare to pray after it bursts.
Charging Phase (Floor 1+)
Boss charges a powerful attack.
Only stopped by hitting with a Melee weapon.
If not stopped, you'll take 60+ damage.
Grub Mechanic
Small grubs crawl toward the boss, healing him if they reach.
Use the appropriate Demonbane weapon to one-shot them.
In later floors, grubs pray against certain styles.
Shockwave & Volatile Earth
Look for Volatile Earth orbs.
Hit two far-apart ones to spawn a protective orb.
Stand in it to survive the incoming shockwave attack (similar to Leviathan's jellyfish shield).
Advanced Floors (Floor 2+)
New Mechanic: Shield Phase
Boss gains a shield bar.
Damage it using any Demonbane weapon.
Popping grubs near the boss deals 100 damage to the shield.
Floor 3: Venom Pools
Acid puddles appear.
Running into them venoms you – avoid at all costs.
Floor 4+: Difficulty Spikes
Increased orb quantity, grub speed, projectile count, and overall attack speed.
The final floors are relentless and will test your stamina and prayer switching.
The Race Car (Final Mechanic)
Boss charges up and dashes across the arena (vroom-vroom).
He'll target a line through or behind you.
-Avoid the line.
-Don't lead it through debris – you'll need that later.
Post Dash – Stomp Attack
After dashing, Doom may stomp, dealing heavy damage.
Hide behind debris to mitigate it.
Follow-up projectiles require correct prayer as always.
