OSRS Deadman Mode - Step 4: Wizard's Tower & Draynor XP Stack

Feb-14-2026 PST

As Deadman Mode continues to accelerate, Step 4 of the Annihilation route is all about stacking quick experience and diary-style points in one tight loop. The Wizard's Tower and Draynor Village sit right next to each other, making them perfect for efficient routing without exposing yourself to high-risk PvP zones.

OSRS Deadman Mode - Step 4: Wizard's Tower & Draynor XP Stack

This step looks simple on paper, but it delivers a strong return for very little time investment. When executed properly, you'll earn easy points, boost Agility and Thieving, and keep your progression moving forward without breaking momentum.

Step 4 Overview: Why This Route Works

The Wizard's Tower and Draynor Village offer:

Safe, low-traffic areas early in the tournament

Multiple quick-complete tasks

Minimal combat requirements

Excellent synergy with Thieving and Agility progression

By combining these locations into a single route, you reduce travel time and maximize Annihilation point efficiency.

Preparing in Lumbridge

Before heading out, make two quick purchases in Lumbridge:

Buy an Iron Axe from Bob

Buy a Jug from the general store

These items are inexpensive and lightweight, but both are required for upcoming diary tasks. Grabbing them now prevents backtracking later and keeps your route clean.

Once you have both items, leave Lumbridge and head south toward the Wizard's Tower.

Wizard's Tower: Essence Mine Teleport

Inside the Wizard's Tower, speak with Sedridor and ask him to teleport you to the Essence Mine.

Reward: 15 Annihilation Points

This task takes only a few seconds and adds another easy point source to your total. It also reinforces your access to Essence-related teleports, which become more useful as Rune crafting options expand later in the tournament.

After arriving at the Essence Mine, teleport out immediately to Draynor Village.

Draynor Village: Agility and Thieving Gains

Draynor is a Deadman Mode favorite for a reason. It offers fast experience, simple tasks, and excellent positioning near multiple regions.

Complete One Lap of the Draynor Agility Course

Head to the Draynor Agility Course and complete a single lap.

Reward: 15 Annihilation Points

The course is quick and relatively safe, especially early in the tournament. Even one lap contributes toward your Agility progression and secures free points with minimal effort.

Pickpocket a Master Farmer

Next, locate a Master Farmer and successfully pickpocket him.

Reward: 25 Annihilation Points

This task requires higher Thieving than standard NPCs, but by Step 4 you should already be well on your way. Master Farmers also provide valuable seeds, which can be useful later depending on your Deadman strategy.

Completing this task not only grants points but also signals a transition into more rewarding Thieving content.

Sarah's Farm Shop Task

After finishing your Draynor skilling tasks, head northwest of Draynor Village and locate Sarah's Farm Shop. Simply open the shop interface.

Reward: 15 Annihilation Points

This is another instant-completion task that's easy to miss if you're rushing. Diary-style objectives like this are critical in Deadman Mode because they offer guaranteed progress without risk.

Fill Your Jug with Water

With your jug already in your inventory, find a nearby water source and fill the jug with water.

This task may seem trivial, but it's a required step for several achievement-style objectives and ties neatly into the items you purchased earlier. Completing it now ensures you won't need to revisit Draynor later just to check off a simple requirement.

Total Rewards from Step 4

By completing this route efficiently, you gain:

70+ Annihilation Points

Agility experience from two separate courses

Thieving progress via Master Farmer pickpocketing

Multiple diary-style completions with zero combat

Just as importantly, you maintain a steady pace without entering dangerous zones or drawing attention from PKers.

Maintaining Momentum in Deadman Mode

Deadman tournaments are won by players who manage time and risk better than everyone else. Steps like this—compact, safe, and reward-dense—are what separate consistent performers from early eliminations.

As the tournament progresses, many players choose to reduce downtime by securing supplies early. Some opt for cheap OSRS gold and DMM gold from reliable platforms such as the RSgoldfast store, allowing them to focus on routing, PvP awareness, and point optimization rather than slow early-game grinding.

Step 4 of the OSRS Deadman Mode Annihilation route is a textbook example of efficient progression. By combining the Wizard's Tower and Draynor Village into a single loop, you stack experience, points, and task completions without unnecessary risk.

Finish this step cleanly, keep your inventory light, and stay alert. With this XP stack completed, you'll be perfectly positioned to move into more aggressive skilling and higher-value objectives—while others are still trying to catch up.
