Where does the event begin?

To kick off the event, head to the same location as last year. Make your way to Varrock and seek out the Costumed Child near the Great Cauldron, situated close to the west Varrock bank.

Speak to the Costumed Child, who will provide you with a treat cauldron to collect goodies during your trick-or-treating adventures.

How to participate?

Once you have your treat cauldron, you'll need to don three Halloween items. Obtain these items by talking to the Costumed Child, who will present you with an interface displaying a variety of spooky items. Choose the ones you wish to wear and get ready to embrace the Halloween spirit!

Once you're decked out in your Halloween finest, you can embark on your trick-or-treating escapades across Gielinor.

Trick-or-Treat Locations

Several NPC characters await your visit for some delightful trick-or-treating. There are a total of five NPC characters, each generously offering 100 candies. By visiting all five, you'll acquire the majority of the candy required to obtain event items.

You can also try trick-or-treating with other NPCs, but be aware that they provide significantly fewer candies (3-5) and may even play tricks on you. I recall encountering a mischievous ghost the first time I approached an NPC and said "trick-or-treat"!

How to get candy in the 2023 Halloween event:

1.Some NPC characters, each giving 100 candies.
2.Trick-or-treating with men, women, and guards.
3.Engaging in skilling activities such as Fishing, Mining, and Woodcutting.
