OSRS Thieving Guide: 1-99 TrainingApr-24-2023 PST
Are you looking to become a master thief in OSRS? In this comprehensive OSRS Thieving Guide, we'll provide you with all the tips and tricks you need to get to level 99 Thieving in no time.
Thieving is an exciting, challenging, and rewarding skill in Old School RuneScape (OSRS), and this guide is here to help you master it. Created by Jagex, Old School RuneScape (OSRS) is a throwback MMORPG that transports players to the early days of RuneScape. Thieving is a highly sought-after and crucial skill in this game, allowing the player to steal from NPCs, access locked chests, and shoplift from vendors. Gaining riches, resources, and herblore is a significant part of your Old School RuneScape experience, and the Thieving skill is essential for this.
Gaining a 99 level in the Thieving skill may seem impossible, but with the appropriate mindset and mentorship, the process can be fun and rewarding. Detailed information on leveling techniques, training methods, and valuable hints have been included in this guide to help you get to level 99 as quickly as possible in Thieving.
Level 1-38: Ardougne
The Ardougne cloak is a significant help in the first levels of the game. Start stealing from both male and female players up to level 5. If you want to skip forward to level 14, you may get 2175 Thieving experience by completing the Combat Arena task. If you're not a quester, we recommend skipping down to the level 5 cake stands, but I believe it's worth your time. Since your thievery becomes more dangerous as you level up, this will also provide you with food, which is essential for low-level characters.
Level 38-55: Master Farmers or Warrior Women
The most critical factors here will determine the NPC you choose. Pickpocketing Warrior Women will get you more experience points per hour than working for a Master Farmer, but the seeds they sell are worth much more money. The experience gained each hour is comparable between the two approaches. Despite the monotony, you should make a good time.
Level 55 Plus: Blackjacking
In order to make advantage of this approach, you will first need to have completed the quest "The Feud." You may want to go on to the following technique if you are unable to complete this task, do not want to invest the time, or find Blackjacking tedious. After completing The Feud, go to Pollnivneach to take on some Bandits and Menaphite Thugs in a game of blackjack. Try to end the fight by knocking out your opponent. If you are successful, you can pickpocket them twice while they are out cold.
If that doesn't work, try picking their pocket once to distract them while you retry, knocking them unconscious. The quantity of experience gained every hour with this technique is high across the board.
At roughly level 60, if you have a high enough combat level, you can start blackjacking Menaphite Thugs. But, if you fail and end yourself in conflict with them, things might become complicated. If you're not sure whether you're ready for Menaphite Thugs, stick with Bandits until you're level 65 or 70.
Much like any other kind of theft, carrying food with you will help you succeed. Food should be recorded and sold to a vendor before being repurchased. You may utilize this method to level up to 99 at a rate of up to 200K each hour.
Bonus for Levels 71 Plus: Pyramid Plunder
Pyramid Plunder is my favorite portion of the thieving tree. Accept the Sophanem quest Icthlarin's Little Helper to get started. Speak to the Nomad while being followed by a kitten or cat. Seek whether you want to use this route to go inside the bank. Head to the Jalsavrah Pyramid in Sophanem to begin the minigame training with these prerequisites out of the way. The game starts as soon as the conversation with the guardian mummy ends. Loot as many rooms as possible in your five minutes, and watch out for traps.
While searching through urns or chests, you may be poisoned occasionally, so food and anti-poison will serve you well. Still, they will also take up valuable inventory space. How much you bring depends on how much loot you’ll want to carry, but since you’ve already completed Contact! (You did do that, right?) you’ll have easy access to a bank no matter what you decide.
