Step 1: Start the Quest

To begin the "Sins of the Father" quest, head to the Myreque hideout in Burgh de Rott. Speak to Veliaf Hurtz, who can be found in the basement of the pub. He will inform you about some concerning events in Meiyerditch and task you with investigating.

Step 2: Gathering Information

Travel to Meiyerditch by using the boat at the Hollows or the boat at Burgh de Rott. Once in Meiyerditch, speak to Ivan Strom, located in the building south-east of the bank. He will provide you with information regarding the whereabouts of the Myreque.

Step 3: Locate the Myreque

Make your way to the Myreque hideout in Meiyerditch by navigating through the underground tunnels. You will encounter various obstacles and enemies along the way, so be prepared for combat. Once you reach the hideout, speak to Safalaan and the other members of the Myreque.

Step 4: Obtain the Darkmeyer Insignia

Your next objective is to obtain the Darkmeyer Insignia. To do this, head to the Arboretum in Darkmeyer. Speak to Kael Forshaw and ask him about the Insignia. He will instruct you to create it using a blisterwood log and a cut onyx. Cut the blisterwood log into a staff shape and then attach the cut onyx to create the Darkmeyer Insignia.

Step 5: Infiltrate Castle Drakan

Equip the Darkmeyer Insignia and enter Castle Drakan. Make your way to the basement of the castle and speak to Vanescula Drakan. After a conversation, you will be ambushed by Vanstrom Klause. Defeat him to proceed.

Step 6: Escape Castle Drakan

Once you have defeated Vanstrom Klause, your next objective is to escape Castle Drakan. Navigate through the castle, avoiding or defeating the enemies in your path. Use the shortcut to reach the upper level and then head to the south-east tower. Once there, use the grapple shortcut to exit the castle.

Step 7: Return to Safalaan

After escaping Castle Drakan, return to the Myreque hideout and speak to Safalaan. He will inform you about a plan to liberate Meiyerditch and ask for your assistance.

Step 8: Liberate Meiyerditch

Prepare yourself for a challenging battle. Gather a group of combat-ready players and head back to Meiyerditch. Follow the instructions provided by Safalaan and work together to defeat the Vyrewatch and liberate Meiyerditch.

Step 9: Return to Safalaan (Optional)

If you encounter any difficulties during the battle, it is possible to return to the Myreque hideout and speak to Safalaan for assistance.

Step 10: Quest Completion

Once you have successfully liberated Meiyerditch, return to the Myreque hideout and speak to Safalaan. Congratulations! You have completed the "Sins of the Father" quest and unlocked new content and rewards.
