In the following guide, we will be covering the best money-making methods for the Fishing skill. The guide is for both F2P and P2P players; however, most of the P2P methods require you to have high Fishing levels. So, let’s begin.

P2P Methods

Dark Crabs (350k GP/Hour)

Dark Crabs Fishing spot is located in the Wilderness Resource Area. It’s recommended that you have high Defense gear to protect yourself from Player Killers, along with a Slash weapon to slash the web near the Wilderness Lever, for fishing money making osrs. Besides that, it’s recommended to have a Lockpick to escape from them and make sure that you have completed the Wilderness Elite Diary to increase your profits. DON’T BRING ANY ITEMS THAT YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO RISK.

Minnows (320k GP/Hour)

As compared to the other methods listed in the following guide, this method is not AFK; however, the profit makes it worthwhile. The Fishing spot to catch Minnows shifts every fifteen seconds, so you need to keep an eye out for it. A plus point is that Minnows stack and you won’t need to ever visit your bank. Once you’re done, you can exchange the Minnows for Sharks, and then sell them for profit.

You are required to have the Anglers Outfit to access the area, and it is recommended that you get Rada’s Blessing to increase the chances of catching double Minnows.

Sacred Eels (350k GP/Hour)

It’s recommended that you have at least 72 Cooking or higher before approaching this method. You also need to complete the Regicide quest to gain access to the spot. Besides that, you’ll need a Fishing Rod, Knife, and Bait, for fishing money making osrs. The Knife can be used on the Sacred Eels to extract Zulrah Scales out of them, and the scales obtained depend on how high is your cooking level.

Infernal Eels

The following method requires you to have 25 Herblore to make an Oily Fishing Rod, as well as a Fire Cape to gain access into the Mol Ul Rek city. You can make money by using a Hammer on the Infernal Eels to extract Tokkuls, Onyx Bolt Tips, and Lava Shards from them. You need to stack 300k Tokkuls and exchange them for an Uncut Onyx, which is the most valuable item you can purchase with Tokkuls.

F2P Methods

Swordfish (30k GP/Hour)

At level 50 Fishing, you can catch Swordfish using a Harpoon. It’s recommended that you complete the quests Corsair Curse and Dragon Slayer before approaching this method. You can catch them either at Karamja or the Corsair Cove Resource Area (the quest requirements to access the area are mentioned above).

Lobsters (25k GP/Hour)

At level 40 Fishing, you can consider catching Lobsters using a Lobster Pot. The quest requirements and location to catch them are similar to the Swordfish method mentioned above.
