OSRS: Fastest Way Back to Gwenith Glide

Dec-04-2025 PST

Navigating through Tirannwn can be one of the trickiest travel challenges in Old School RuneScape, especially for players who regularly interact with Prifddinas or complete content involving the elven lands. Among the most commonly asked questions is: What is the fastest way back to the Gwenith Glide post in Prifddinas? Whether you’re training Agility, doing quests, or simply moving between elven districts, knowing this shortcut can save enormous time.

OSRS: Fastest Way Back to Gwenith Glide

This guide breaks down every fast method available, their requirements, and when each is optimal, so you can always return to the Gwenith Glide point with maximum efficiency.

What Is the Gwenith Glide

The Gwenith Glide is one of the available Glider stops within the Prifddinas area, located near the Ithell district. It’s primarily used during the Song of the Elves questline but becomes a convenient travel point afterward for players moving around northern Prifddinas or heading toward the Arandar Pass.

Because it sits slightly away from the central teleport spots, reaching it quickly requires knowing the right transport options.

Fastest Methods Back to Gwenith Glide

Below are the absolute fastest routes, ranked from best to situational depending on where you currently are in Gielinor.

1. Prifddinas Teleport (BEST OVERALL)

Requirements

Level 75 Magic

Completion of Song of the Elves

2 Law runes + 2 Soul runes

Why It’s the Fastest

The Prifddinas Teleport drops you right at the center of the city, close to the Crwys-Ithell district border. From the teleport point, running west and slightly north takes under 15 seconds to reach the Gwenith Glide area.

When to Use

You already have Rune Pouch runes

You frequently move between Prifddinas districts

You want consistency and don’t rely on external items

If you have the Magic level and quest completion, this is hands down the fastest method every single time.

2. Teleport Crystal / Eternal Teleport Crystal (FAST + CONVENIENT)

Requirements

Completion of Song of the Elves

Access to Teleport Crystals (or the uncharged versions during quests)

Teleport Destination

Prifddinas Tower Portal next to the central lodestone

Why It Works

The Prifddinas teleport crystal offers the exact same arrival point as the Magic teleport. An Eternal Teleport Crystal is even better because it provides unlimited teleports.

Time to Gwenith Glide

Approximately 15–20 seconds of running.

When to Use

You don’t want to burn runes

Your Magic level isn’t high enough

You keep a teleport crystal in your pocket for routine travel

3. Elf Camp Teleport (via Teleport Seed) (GOOD ALTERNATIVE)

Requirements

Roving Elves completion

Teleport crystal seed or charged crystal

Option selected to go to Lletya

Why It’s Good

Teleporting to Lletya places you in southeastern Tirannwn. From here, you can run northwest to Prifddinas in about 1–1.5 minutes.

When to Use

You’re doing content in southern Tirannwn

You don’t have Prifddinas unlocked yet

You're coming from Isafdar post-questing

This is not the fastest from most parts of Gielinor, but situationally useful.

4. Iorwerth Camp Teleport (via Slayer Ring) (SITUATIONAL)

Requirements

Slayer Ring (any charge)

Access to Iorwerth Slayer Dungeon

Why It Works

Teleporting to the Iorwerth camp puts you on the southwestern edge of Prifddinas. You can run northeast to the Gwenith Glide in about 40–50 seconds.

When It’s Good

You’re training Slayer in Iorwerth Dungeon

You’re coming from Zalcano, Gauntlet, or Corrupted Gauntlet

Not the fastest globally, but excellent when actively doing elven Slayer tasks.

5. Spirit Tree to Prifddinas (FAST FOR MID-LEVELS)

Requirements

Completion of Tree Gnome Village

Spirit Tree patch in Prifddinas unlocked (via 75 Farming or help from Ithell district)

Why It’s Useful

The Spirit Tree inside Prifddinas is close to the center. Travel time is slightly slower than the teleport, but still only takes roughly 20–25 seconds to reach the Gwenith Glide.

Best Use Cases

You're doing Farming runs

You prefer Spirit Tree networks

You’re not using Teleport Crystals

6. Loadstone Network → Prifddinas Loadstone (FREE + RELIABLE)

Requirements

Unlock the Prifddinas Lodestone

Why It Works

The lodestone is very close to the standard Prifddinas teleport location. Although its animation takes longer than spells or crystals, it costs nothing and remains consistent.

Travel Time to Gwenith Glide

Approx. ~25 seconds.

Best Use Case

Ironmen who are low on runes

Budget travel during long grinds

Players who don’t carry teleport items

If you want the fastest possible route back to Gwenith Glide, the winner is clear: Prifddinas Teleport—either via Magic or Teleport Crystal. Both drop you very close to the area and cut travel time to under 20 seconds. Spirit Trees and Lodestone teleports are excellent backups when you lack runes or items, while Lletya and Iorwerth camp teleports become excellent situational options when doing specific content.

Mastering these transport routes not only saves minutes per trip but also streamlines all Prifddinas-related gameplay—from skilling and quests to bossing and Slayer. Now you can glide back to Gwenith faster than ever and continue your adventure in the elven lands with maximum efficiency.
