OSRS Construction Guide

Dec-23-2022 PST

Introduction

Construction is known as a buyable skill through the OSRS platform. In other words, you need to be pay a hefty sum to advance in the skill, and you can’t consider maxing out until you have 150M GP to burn. In the following guide, we will show you the fastest possible method to reach 99 Construction.

Why should you train in Construction?

Construction is a requirement for many quests: Darkness of the hallow vale (Level 5), The eyes of glouphrie (Level 5), Tower of life (Level 10), The Fremennik Isles (Level 20), The Great Brain Robbery (Level 30), Cold war (3Level 5), Making friends with my arm (Level 35), Dragonslayer 2 (Level 50), and Song of the elves (Level 70).

You can create useful rooms in your Player-Owned House: Chapel (Gilded Altar), Portal Chamber, Superior Garden (Fairy Ring, Spirit Tree, Restoration Pools, etc.), Portal Nexus (Xeric & Dig Site Teleport, along with 30 additional teleports), and Achievement Gallery (Switching Spell Books, Jewelry Boxes, etc.).

How to quickly level up?

From levels 1 to 40, you need to stick to Rimmington as your base location. There’s a general store (run by Phials) next to the portal that can un-note the items for you for a charge of 5 GP per item.

After level 40, you’ll have access to butlers that’ll do the banking runs for you. They are quite essential to enhance the hourly XP rates. You can hire them in Ardougne, and you need to have two bedrooms in your POH to provide them with a place to sleep. There are two types of Butlers; Regular Butler and Demon Butler, with each of them having different perks.

The Carpenter’s Outfit offers a 2.5% XP boost while training the Construction skill. It helps save a ton of money so it’s highly recommended when on the road to maxing out. You can obtain the outfit from the Mahogany Homes Reward Shop for a total cost of 2,000 points.

The cheapest method to train Construction will cost you about 130M to 160M. The price depends on whether you’re using a Regular or Demon Butler.
